🎶 Performing Arts With Mr. Oliver Diez

Students must be in grades 3rd – 5th and have at least one-year experience playing a band instrument. 

Concert Band Director: Oliver Diez

Students must be in grades 2nd – 5th and would like to learn to play one of the following: flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, trumpet, trombone, baritone, French horn or tuba.

Beginning Band Director: Oliver Diez

Students must be in grades 3rd – 5th and play a band or string instrument extremely well.  Students must audition with Mr. Diez before joining Jazz Combo.

Jazz Combo Director: Oliver Diez

Students must be in grades 2nd – 5th and audition at the beginning of the year.  Students should be able to match pitch with their voice, meaning when they hear a series of notes on the piano, they must sing it back using the same pitches. 

Singers Director: Oliver Diez

Students must be in grades 4th – 5th and have some musical background in reading rhythms.  Auditions are held at the beginning of the school year.

Drumline Director:  Pablo Reyna

Rehearsals are usually after school 3:05-4:05.  Dates will be announced.  Students must be in grades 1st – 5th grade.

Orchestra Director: Jonathan Ingram 

Our Palmetto Cheerleaders bring the spirit and enthusiasm to local South Florida events throughout the school year. They also perform at our special Performing Arts shows, and help our elementary students get excited at our Fun Fest, Pep Rallies and other school wide events! Tryouts for this group of third through fifth graders are held each Spring. Come join the squad and show your spirit!
