Welcome to the Palmetto Elementary School family! Each new school year brings excitement and anticipation, along with the promise of learning and growth. As a parent, one of the best ways to become involved at Palmetto Elementary is through the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
Your PTA Membership dollars help provide academic resources and enhancements for programs like Accelerated Readers and our Science Enhancement Curriculum. In recent years, our impact has also been seen in very tangible ways, ranging from new basketball and PE courts, the installation of a new walking track in our PE field and a complete renovation to the Palmetto Elementary Media Center.
Over the last two years we've been able renovate our school Cafeteria, add new astro turf throughout large portions of our outdoor areas (including our proud lion logo in the center of the P.E. field track which really features our school PRIDE), and paint the complete exterior of the school. Keep an eye out for new changes this year, as we strive to further improve the school environment for our children.
Our PTA does amazing things thanks to the generosity of our community. Don’t miss your chance to become a supporting member of this wonderful organization! Anyone can be a member – parents, grandparents, community members and alumni. Membership is not tied to any volunteer commitments, but rather a way to show your support for the programs and events the PTA provides.
