Palmetto Elementary enables children to grow & learn in a robust environment thanks to the generosity of community donors and Palmetto families.
Thanks to the hard work of our principal, teachers, staff and parent volunteers, we are able to have one of the best kindergarten programs in the county.
Maybe you volunteer as a room parent, maybe you volunteer to serve softdrinks during the annual fundraiser, FunFest, or maybe you volunteer to help plant trees on campus to provide more shade for our students, there is no right way to PTA. So show us how YOU PTA by joining us this year!
We have a long standing history as a National PTA School of Excellence. We have once again been awarded this prestigious recognition for 2022 - 2024. As a National PTA School of Excellence, Palmetto Elementary School aims for all families to feel welcomed and empowered to support student success. PTA is a key partner for continuous school improvement.

PTA Membership is not tied to any volunteer commitments, but rather a way to show your support for the many programs the PTA provides. We have membership options at several levels and need your support now more than ever! Learn More about our new Golden Paw, Bridge, Foundation and General Membership levels by clicking here.
The overall purpose of Palmetto Elementary School PTA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and surrounding communities to advocate for all children. We collaborate while keeping children front and center on every issue

Watch D.O.G.S. dads and volunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher’s guidance by working with small groups of students on homework, flashcards, or spelling.
🐾 The TOP Dog will coordinate quarterly events for his fellow Watch D.O.G.S. throughout the school year. So sign up and get ready to become an integral part of your child's school experience!
